We had a WONDERFUL rendezvous in Spring 2007 and hope all will come this year to join in all the fun at the 3rd annual Blue Mountain Festival of the Old West!!
We will enjoy spectacular events such as: Native American Dancers, Black Powder, Pistol, Rifle, Cannon Shoot (and Candy Cannon), Hawk and Knife Throw, Primitive Bow and Arrow Shoot, Traders Row, Cowboy Action Shoot, and the Mountain Man Run.
There are many Traders and Craftsmen who will join us in beautiful Dodge Canyon. Also, a large variety of delicious Food (to satisfy everyone's taste buds) will be available for purchase.
Dodge Canyon is beautifully surrounded on each side by pinion pine trees, wonderful moss covered rocks sprinkled in and around towering ponderosa trees. Scrub oak, sage brush, and cedar trees make up the foreground with native grasses in camp and trade areas.
Directions: Monticello is located in South Eastern Utah, where Highway 191 and Highway 491 intersect. Travel South of Monticello on Hwy. 191 six miles. Turn left on Dodge Road. Then follow the Dodge Road and Festival signs 1 ½ miles to festival entrance. If you are coming from the south, travel north from Blanding for approximately 15 miles. Turn right on Dodge Road. Then follow the Dodge Road and Festival signs.
Festival Costs (for one day only):
$3.00 – Per Person
$12.00 – Family Pass
For events and anything you purchase at the Festival will have an additional fee!
