Welcome To

BULL HOLLOW RACEWAY

Monticello, UT

It’s time for the 7th Annual Four Corners Shootout at Bull Hollow.  Since this race is the official kick-off to the 2008 San Juan County Fair the crew at Bull Hollow has decided to “un-sanction” the event.  That is to say riders will not be required to pay the $39 AMA (American Motorcyclist Association) membership fee for the race as it will not be AMA-sanctioned.  This race will still count towards your overall BHRS points.

Also, be aware that there are a number of racers who are eligible to earn a High Five card for 2009.  For those of you who don’t know about the High Five card, these are free gate passes given to each rider who attends all 5 BHRS races the previous year.  These cards are good for the rider only and are good for all races (BHRS, WORCS, WEBE, ARVDA, and USRA Desert), which will be over a $75 savings in 2009.

The overall number of riders varies between 170-120  in the Bull Hollow Race Series.  While the series includes riders from Craig, Colorado to Page, Arizona and throughout the four corners area, the number of local riders has dwindled.   We invite all of you who have an interest in riding to come join the fun at Bull Hollow as we close the 2008 BHRS.

As part of the Fair look for lots of prizes and giveaways, including tickets to the Darryl Worley concert on Thursday, August 7th.  There will be a Pro purse for every pro class with 3 or more riders (must have a pro card).  Bull Hollow will also give out Hole Shot awards and prizes.

The grooming team has been working out some snags with equipment failures that have plagued the track over the past few weeks so look for some improvements.

Practice on Friday is up-in-the-air. If the track is in shape and there are enough practice riders, Joe will give out tickets at the starting gate.  Call and let us know if you would like to practice.

As part of the kick-off to the Fair, a family pass will be $20.  That is to say -Mom, Dad, and the kids.  Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Grandmas, and Grandpas, as well as In-laws and Outlaws will be extra.

Look for new trophies for 2nd and below, as well as the Hole Shot.
