TRACK INFORMATION
About the Owners
Joe and Carol Barton are the owners of Bull Hollow Raceway. Joe is a retired School Teacher from Monticello, and Carol in an Independent Consultant from Blanding.
Together they have 12 children, which comes in handy on race day.
By the help of Dirtwurx, and many family members, the track got started in 2002. Many of you that have raced at Bull Hollow know that it is a family owned and operated business. The up keep of the facilities are run by family members; the races are also run by family and adopted family members. This keeps everyone very busy. As the years have come and gone, and the races have become bigger and bigger the owners have needed extra help, so they adopted several new families. The Barton family is BIG, but aren't big enough to run all the races!
Facilities
Bull Hollow Raceway is located 5 miles south of Monticello, UT. Highway 191 and Highway 491 intersect in Monticello. I-70 is the nearest interstate. The closest airport is located in Cortez, Colorado.
There are concessions available at the track every race day. Concessions are provided by K&A Chuckwagon (another family owned and operated business). They also have a restaurant in Monticello.
